There can not be any acceptable explanation on why a drowning country like Nigeria should just get loan of $1.95 billion to build railway to Niger Republic.
Despite their effort to “clear the air”, criticism has increased since last week, with the opposition PDP and several well-meaning Nigerians telling president Buhari how stupid that move is.
Yesterday, it was Rep. Soli Sada (APC-Katsina) who defended the project so enthusiastically in front of media cameras that you would marvel and want to ask where actually these people keep their sense of good and bad!
“So, people who are saying there is no economic viability say so because they do not know the volume of trade that takes place in Kano,” Sada said.
APC appears more committed than never to steering Nigeria backward with amazing speed. Isn’t this too bad?
